Welsh Housing Quarterly is the only independent housing and regeneration magazine for and about Wales. Incisive analysis, clear reporting and informed editorial – WHQ is the place to keep up to date with what is going on in housing and regeneration in Wales.

WHQ provides high quality information and views on housing and regeneration issues. It aims to inform, stimulate debate and provide examples of effective practice.

The magazine was established in 1990 by the Centre for Housing Management and Development at Cardiff University and is now published by Chartered Institue of Housing Cymru.

WHQ is published four times a year in the spring, summer, autumn and winter.  Every issue of WHQ includes a range of articles as well as regular features:

  • Policy Update
  • Finance Update
  • Findings from key research projects funded by the Welsh Government and other research funders
  • Regular contributions from CIH Cymru, Community Housing Cymru, Cymorth Cymru, Cwmpas, Shelter Cymru
