Hannah Davies
Where do you work and what do you do?
I’m the PA to the chief executive of Rhondda Housing Association.
Why did you choose a career in housing?
I’ve always been keen work for an organisation that supports the community, and when this role was advertised, it seemed perfect!
What is the most important thing you have you learned since starting your career in housing?
It’s not just bricks and mortar, it is a much more diverse organisation.
What advice would you give someone applying for a job in housing?
Go for it, it was the best decision I made.
Where would you be working, if not in housing?
I would likely still be working in the Ministry of Justice, waiting for the perfect opportunity to arise.
What motivates you?
A taxing challenge!
What do you do to relax?
A good book or film is always a winner.
Proudest moment?
Being a finalist for Support Person of the Year at the Contact Centre Awards a few years ago.
Most embarrassing moment?
I daren’t say!!!
What was the last film you watched and how did you rate it?
The Great Gatsby – strangely, my go to feel good movie.
