RCT Homes partnership contractors accredited
RCT Homes and their contractors were recently awarded the TPAS Cymru Pinpoint Quality Mark Contractor Accreditation Award. The Pinpoint Award recognises the quality of tenant involvement in major improvements and repairs work.
This is the first time that an award has been given to a housing partnership. The RCT Homes Partnership is between, RCT Homes, and their major works contractors, including Bouchard and Jones Ltd, Bullock Cymru, Colin Laver Heating Ltd and Solar Windows Ltd.
The Contractor Accreditation Award assessment consists of measuring 10 key areas of operation, including tenant involvement and tenant satisfaction, within the repairs and improvements services being received by tenants.
RCT Homes Chief Executive, Andrew Lycett said: ‘It is fantastic that RCT Homes are leading the way with the Pinpoint accreditation. To be recognised as the first partnership in the UK with this stamp of approval is something very special.
‘As the first housing community mutual in Wales, tenants take an active role in our decision-making and so it is essential that those we work with exemplify the same ethos. This award proves that, as a partnership, we all do.’

The scrutiny panel for the accreditation wished to commend the RCT Homes Partnership for the high quality of care and involvement provided for tenants.’ </p.
