Welsh Tenants Federation Annual Conference
Housing in our hands
19 and 20 September 2012, Hotel Metropole, Llandrindod Wells
Following on from last year’s success, the conference will again be a tenant-led and interactive event, focusing on how tenants can shape the changes in the forthcoming Housing Bill. We will be consulting on the issues being raised in the proposed Housing Act 2013 and asking tenants to add their own issues to the discussions. In addition to this, we will be looking back over the recent history of housing and asking key questions around what has worked in the past, what hasn’t and what you would like to take forward for the future to ensure we have a more equitable housing system fit for 21st Century Wales.
If you are interested in running a workshop at the conference, having an information stand or are interested in sponsorship opportunities, please give us a call.
Visit our website for more information on the program and delegate prices.
ATTAIN Events
These events provide delegates with information on a wide range of housing and community based topics, as well as introducing them to beneficial organisations for them and their communities. During the events, tenants are given the opportunity to air their views on housing issues in an open and friendly atmosphere. Attendance is free to tenants, all expenses are covered and lunch is provided. If you would like to reach a large tenant and community audience, then this is one of the ways we can help you.
We would like to thank all speakers who contributed to the events during 2011 and helped make them a success. These included Shelter Cymru, TAP, Cymorth Cymru, Age Concern, Tai Pawb, Welsh Local Government Association, National Homelessness Network, Energy Efficiency, Moneyline Cymru, Consumer Focus Wales and the Food Co-op.
