Bullock Cymru Wins ‘Pinpoint’ Contractor Accreditation Award
Bullock Cymru have been given a national award which recognises the quality of tenant involvement in major improvements and repairs work. The TPAS Cymru ‘Pinpoint’ Contractor Accreditation recognises contractors who go the extra mile to ensure that social housing tenants receive a quality service in repairs and maintenance work carried out to their homes.
The TPAS Cymru ‘Pinpoint’ Contractor Accreditation Award assessment consists of measuring 10 key areas of operation, including tenant involvement and tenant satisfaction, within the repairs and improvements services being received by tenants.
Bullock Cymru Construction Manager, Scott Braffington, said: ‘It is fantastic that Bullock Cymru is leading the way with the TPAS Cymru ‘Pinpoint’ accreditation. To be recognised as one of the few contractors in Wales with this stamp of approval is something very special.
‘We ensure that we provide a quality service for all social housing landlords that we work with in Wales, and that tenants whose homes we work in are fully involved in the process and receive a quality service. This award proves that customers are at the heart of the service that we provide.’
John Drysdale, Director of TPAS Cymru said ‘Bullock Cymru shows excellent commitment to providing a quality service to social housing tenants in their homes through the major repairs and improvements that the organisation provides.
‘We were impressed also by the enthusiasm and commitment expressed by contractor staff for tenant involvement and the excellent concern and support afforded to individual tenant households by contractors and Tenant Liaison Officers. The scrutiny panel for the accreditation wished to commend Bullock Cymru for the high quality of care and involvement provided for tenants.’
