WHQ makes links
WHQ is very much a partnership venture. The magazine is published by Cardiff University, endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Housing Cymru and receives funding from the Welsh Assembly Government’s Social Housing Management Grant programme. SME Sparkleweb maintain and develop the WHQ website and a number of freelancers are involved in its production. Our sponsors support the magazine financially and contribute valuable content. And of course, there are the many individuals who have written articles and features for the magazine over the years, all of whom have done so on a voluntary basis. To coin a phrase, WHQ could be considered as an example of co-production in action.
WHQ has also developed a range of links with other housing and regeneration organisations. There is a WHQ section on the Welsh Housing Notice Board – www.whnb.org.uk – you will need to register but it’s free. And most recently, we have made a link with New Start, now part of the Centre for Local Economic Strategies. New Start will carry selected articles from WHQ on the website – www.cles.org.uk – which will take WHQ content to practitioners in England. To access all the content on the New Start/CLES website, you will need to be a member.
If your organisation would like to develop a link with WHQ, do get in touch.
